This Sunday...
Old Time Hillbilly Fiddle

It's been a long time coming!

At long last, Spring has come to Le Pichet! Washington's cold weather in March and April has meant that spring vegetables have been slow in coming. But now the market stalls are beginning to feature local asparagus, spring onions, herbs, as well as first of the season fresh goat cheese. Soon we look forward to peas, favas, watercress, morels and radishes. All these spring favorites will be featured on Le Pichet's menu and Daily Specials. So drop by and join us in dreaming about warmer days.

Chefs Demonstration in the Pike Place Market

Spring also means the start of Summer Sundays in the Pike Place Market, with organic farmer's stalls set up in the street in addition to all the great regular stands. As part of the Summer Sunday activities, Le Pichet / Café Presse Executive Chef Jim Drohman will be giving a cooking demonstration in the Market inspired by fresh local produce. The demonstration will be on Sunday June 29, 2008 from 12noon to 1pm. For more details, go to pikeplacemarket.org.
